From being the winner of MTV Roadies in 2004 to becoming one of the most popular VJ on television and then finally making his successful debut in Bollywood with ‘Vicky Donor’ in 2012, Actor-Anchor-Singer Ayushmann Khurrana's journey has been an incredible rollercoaster ride.
He started his career as a Radio Jockey before he got his break as the host of the show MTV ‘Wassup’ in 2008. As a host, he has anchored several shows such as Colors' ‘India's Got Talent in 2009 and 2010, ‘Rock On’ with MTV in 2010, Star Plus' ‘Amul Music Ka Maha Muqqabla’ in 2009, and even Set Max's ‘IPL Extra Innings’ in 2010. A brilliant singer as well, he is well known for his songs like ‘Pani Da Rang’, 'Saddi Galli’, 'Mitti Di Khushboo’, 'Naina Da Kasoor’, among many others.
His splendid performances have been seen in multiple films namely ‘Shubh Mangal Saadhan’, ‘Andhadhun’, ‘Badhaai Ho’, ‘Dream Girl’, ‘Bala’, among others.
In 2015, he collaborated with his wife, Tahira Kashyap, to write his autobiography titled 'Cracking the Code: My Journey to Bollywood'.

He has won multiple awards for his music in the film ‘Vicky Donor’ including the 5th Mirchi Music Awards as ‘Upcoming Music Composer of The Year’ and ‘Upcoming Lyricist of The Year’, Filmfare Award as ‘Best Male Debut’ and ‘Best Male Playback Singer’, Stardust Award for ‘New Musical Sensation (Male)’, among others.
He won the ‘Bharat Nirman Award’ in the Young Achievers Category, National Film Award as ‘Best Actor for ‘Andhadhun’, Filmfare Award as ‘Best Actor for ‘Article 15’, BIG Star Entertainment Award as ‘Most Entertaining Actor (Film) Debut’ – Male for ‘Vicky Donor’ and Screen Award as ‘Best Actor (Critics)’ for the films ‘Article 15’ and ‘Bala’, among others.
